Last week I mentioned that I was going to be on the radio twice, talking about Eureka: Discovering Your Inner Scientist. I was right about one of those:
— My appearance on Voice of America’s Science World ran over the weekend, and there’s a link to the program up now. I can’t figure out a way to link directly to the episode (other than hotlinking to the download, which seems uncool), but it’s the December 19, 2014 episode. My bit starts about 16 minutes in.
— The other radio thing I mentioned last week was an appearance on WAMC’s Roundtable. I did, in fact, drive to Albany to record this live in the studio– and let me tell you, it’s a whole lot more pleasant to be talking to a person in the same room as you than doing these things over the phone or Internet. Given the plummeting audience at this time of year, though, they recorded it to use on January 5, when people are back at work and listening to radio again. So, tune in then, and hear me chat with Joe about scientific thinking.
In other publicity news, of interest only to me, I’m weirdly pleased to see my book on the Williams alumni site. Just a little blurb, stuck in between a George Washington bio and a kids’ fantasy book, but I like it.
Anyway, that’s the latest in Eureka publicity. Things will quiet down for a bit for the next week or two, but there will be more stuff in January, I’m sure.
